Dark & Moody + a Pop of Color
Our style is one that blends dark & moody with a pop of color. We want our wedding couples to be the "focus" of the photos and believe this is shown in our work. We love working with clients that want creative and out-of-the-box photos that can show the uniqueness of their day. For us, darker, moodier edits make you look deeper at the image, the emotion, and at the light that IS there. We do shoot a majority of light, bright and happy images too, but look forward to sharing (and adding often) to our gallery of moodier images.

About Savanna
Savanna is a storyteller and wedding photographer in Biloxi, Mississippi. Savanna is widely considered one of the best wedding and creative portrait photographers in her area. She's also one of a handful of the featured Award Winning Biloxi photographers.
Whether documenting a once in a lifetime wedding ceremony, shooting for reality tv shows, or filming a short film, Savanna relies on her Faith, caffeine, and love of her craft to ensure the story is told.
Savvy Snapshots was featured as the Sun Herald's Gold Best Photographer for Best of Coastal Mississippi in 2023 and was named Top 3 for Best Videography for WXXV's Viewer's Choice Awards Wedding Edition 2023, along with a photography award for her landscape photo with the Pascagoula River Audubon Center in the same year.
About Dalton
Dalton has been a long time team member and has made his mark in the industry with several of his photos featured as View of the Week with WXXV, along with a strong event photography and videography portfolio.
Mainly seen with a video camera, he won't miss a moment of a wedding, capturing all the important events and detail shots. He has a unique eye for composition and gives a different perspective in his photos that can be seen in our gallery.
As Savvy Snapshots was established in 2018 by Savanna, Dalton has been there since the early stages, picking up the camera in 2019 for our first wedding video and the rest is history!
Both Savanna & Dalton have had their work featured in print, in South Mississippi Living, Shutter Up Magazine, and more. As an engaged couple, soon to be married, they love taking photos together, playing video games, and watching The Office.

A Few of the Favorites
Shooting at a location like The Jackson Pearl in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, dark & moody edits are a must. We loved the simplicity and vintage look of the pose with the bride sitting for this shot.
Centering the couple draws you in to them as the focus, but also showcases the surroundings, like the slightly open door behind them, which could be a sign of them opening a new door to the next chapter in their lives together.
As barn venues have become mildly popular over the years, we love the uniqueness of each one we get the chance to shoot at. We can still edit dark & moody while showing off the beauty of the private dance together, one of our favorite parts of the evening since you can focus on having an intimate moment with your spouse before the party begins.
One of our favorite parts of taking wedding photos is capturing the candid shots as you never know what perfect moment you'll get. As Carol-Ann waited for the next pose, we snapped this photo of her looking off, and it certainly has a mood to it. Not to mention the black lace on the wedding dress, which gave the perfect theme for the overall edit of this wedding.
The first dances always pull at our heartstrings. Our heart goes out to the fathers as they give their little girl away. Outdoor weddings are beautiful as it is, but getting to show the depth of the light in the background, the gentle touch on her father's face, this moment with Brooke and her father as the night comes to an end is truly precious.
